The Balmain #SS 2015 Women's Wear Fashion Show

Okay, now this has to be my favourite show of Paris Fashion Week and probably because I have a slight obsession with Olivier Rousteing but, for all the right reasons. From his pout to his pieces Rousteing is doing everything with a touch of élégance!

As soon as I realised I had #PFW to look forward to I was constantly refreshing Rousteing Instagram page and you could tell one thing was one his mind 'SEX', he drew me into the seduction of the show before it had even aired and I was ready for it; with his collection inspired by Rihanna's style - We can see how he incorporated transparency and cut-outs in his pieces.

I must add that I was literally in french class, counting down the minutes till the show that was live at 3:00pm online. I was refreshing my page whilst learning about youth crime (you can see I'm a true fan as this was quite important for my exam next year lol).

Balmain is the house I've been watching closely ever since Rousteing took over in 2010 and began to do something even more unique with the label. The bold, tomboyish, monochrome pieces attracted me so much since, I love to believe that I live a minimalistic lifestyle with a range of about 4 different colours in my wardrobe at the moment. For the seasons of Spring and Summer however, Rousteing brought out the bog-standard primary colours and turned my world upside down. I'm defiantly considering colour in my wardrobe now...

Should we be more sexy and daring with are clothes the way the likes of Rihanna and Kim K are? for the reason that it sure as hell looks good!!!

But of course the Balmain Army came and conquered. With Jourdan Dunn, Kendall Jenner, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Joan Smalls the catwalk was fire. I was glad to see a variation on ethnic models which is a change from the usual... but no official comment.

Overall the Balmain show exceeded my expectations. I now have a new found love for a mish-mash of bold colours and chunky belts. Seems like something I should try...
